Works on: iPhone 8 and newer (photo mode); LiDAR mode on iPhone 12 Pro and newer Pro models and iPad Pro. Android 8.0+ devices support photo mode.

A good alternative if you don't have a LiDAR iPhone — scan with Polycam, then submit through our upload portal. Free tier available; some export formats require a subscription.

Not sure if your phone works? Check this list of LiDAR-equipped iPhones & iPads, or Google's list of ARCore-supported Android devices. If your phone isn't compatible, contact us — we can arrange an alternate option or a quick in-person scan.

Scan Your Space

Open the app and slowly walk through each room you want redesigned. The app automatically creates a 3D model as you move. A typical room takes 5–10 minutes. The app will guide you — just follow the on-screen instructions and make sure you capture all walls, floors, and major features.

  • Scan during daylight for best results
  • Move slowly and steadily — no quick turns
  • Capture doorways, windows, and built-in features
  • Do one continuous scan per room (don't stop and restart)

Visit our upload portal and submit your 3D scan file. Then fill out a quick project brief: tell us what you're envisioning, share inspiration photos, set your budget range, and describe your timeline. The more detail you provide, the better your design will be.

Everything you need to know about the REMODPOD process.

No special hardware is required, but not every phone is compatible with every app. In general: iPhones from 2017 onward (iPhone 8 and newer) and most Android phones from 2019 onward (with ARCore support) will work with at least one of our recommended apps. Phones with LiDAR sensors — iPhone 12 Pro and newer Pro models, plus recent iPad Pros — produce the most accurate 3D scans. If you're unsure about your specific device, check the app links in Step 1 above, or reach out and we'll confirm what will work for you.
LiDAR-based scans are accurate to within 1–2% of actual room dimensions. Non-LiDAR scans are typically accurate to within 3–5%. Our designers verify all measurements and will reach out if anything looks off.
Every package includes revision rounds: one for Kitchen/Bath, two for Interior and Addition/ADU, and three for Major Renovations. Extra rounds can be added — see Pricing. We also offer a satisfaction guarantee — if we can't get it right, you get a full refund.
Absolutely. Your designs are yours to keep. Every package includes contractor-ready CAD files. Engineer-ready drawings are available as a +$499 add-on for Interior packages and above; where your county requires a stamped set, we’ll point you to a local engineer. We can also provide contractor referrals in your area through our partner network.
Scanning takes 10–30 minutes depending on your space. Upload takes a few minutes. Then our team delivers your design in as little as 10 business days, depending on your package. Need it faster? Rush delivery is available on most packages for +50% of the package price and roughly halves the timeline — see Pricing for details.
