How your files are protected

Encrypted in transit

Every page and upload on REMODPOD uses HTTPS/TLS 1.2+, the same encryption standard used by banks.

Encrypted at rest

Your scans, photos, and drawings are stored on enterprise cloud infrastructure (AWS/Cloudflare R2) with AES-256 encryption at rest.

Access controls

Only the REMODPOD designer assigned to your project — plus the owner — can view your files. All administrative accounts require multi-factor authentication.

No selling your data

We never sell, rent, or share your personal information or project files with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.

PCI-compliant payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. REMODPOD never sees, handles, or stores your full credit card number.

12-month auto-deletion

Your raw project files are automatically deleted 12 months after final delivery unless you ask us to keep them longer.

What we collect — and what we don't

We do collect: your name, email, phone, the property address for the project, your 3D scan, photos, measurements, and worksheet responses, plus payment confirmations from Stripe.

We do not collect: your credit card number, social security number, government ID, banking information, or any biometric data. We do not use facial recognition or identify people in your photos.

Who has access to your files

The REMODPOD designer assigned to your project. Every team member has signed a confidentiality agreement.
Owner / Principal Architect. For quality review.
Trusted service providers under contract — our cloud hosting provider, our project management system, and Stripe for payments. None of them use your content for anything other than helping us deliver your project.

Your information is not shared with marketing companies, other clients, general contractors, product vendors, or any third party without your permission.

Your rights over your information

Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request early deletion of your files before the 12-month mark
Opt out of marketing emails at any time

Using your project for marketing

With your permission, we love to share before/after renovations on our website and social media. If you say no, no worries — your project stays completely private. Either way we never share your street address or any personally identifying information in public content.

Incident response

In the unlikely event of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of confirmation, explain what happened, and describe the steps we are taking.
