REMODPOD ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and design services, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

Contact information: name, email, phone number, project property address
Project materials: 3D scans, photos, measurements, property surveys, worksheet responses
Account credentials (email and password if you create a client account)
Communications with our team (email, portal messages, support requests)

Information collected automatically

Device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, referring URL
Cookies and similar technology for essential site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement and remarketing (see section 8)

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. REMODPOD does not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last four digits of the card used.

2. How We Use Your Information

To deliver the design services you purchased
To communicate with you about your project, revisions, and invoices
To improve our website, process, and service quality
To send optional marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time)
To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

Service providers under confidentiality obligations — web hosting, Stripe (payments), email (e.g., Google Workspace), cloud file storage, and design subcontractors working on your project
Analytics and advertising providers — Google (Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (the Meta Pixel), which receive website activity data as described in section 8
Legal authorities if required by law, court order, or to protect safety and rights
In marketing — only anonymized, de-identified versions of your project (property address and personal identifiers removed), and only if you have not opted out

4. Data Retention

We retain your project files (scans, photos, drawings) for twelve (12) months after final delivery, after which they are automatically deleted from active storage. You may request earlier deletion or extended retention by contacting us at privacy@remodpod.com.

Contact records and invoices are retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, limited employee access on a need-to-know basis, and multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify affected users promptly in the unlikely event of a data breach.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your personal information
Object to or restrict certain processing
Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link or contact us)
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. European and UK residents have rights under GDPR. To exercise any right, email privacy@remodpod.com.

7. Children

REMODPOD is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use essential cookies for site functionality. We also use the third-party tools below on this website. They set cookies or similar identifiers and receive information about your visit — pages viewed, IP address, device and browser, and actions such as submitting a form or clicking through to the App Store:

Google Analytics — aggregate usage measurement.
Google Ads — measuring which ads lead to enquiries, and remarketing (showing you REMODPOD ads on other sites).
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) — measuring ad performance and showing you REMODPOD ads on Meta platforms. This involves tracking across other sites and apps.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and control ad personalization in your Google and Meta account settings. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this kind of advertising cookie may count as "sharing" personal information; California residents can opt out by emailing privacy@remodpod.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
