REMODPOD ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and design services, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Contact information: name, email, phone number, project property address
• Project materials: 3D scans, photos, measurements, property surveys, worksheet responses
• Account credentials (email and password if you create a client account)
• Communications with our team (email, portal messages, support requests)

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, referring URL
• Cookies and similar technology for essential site functionality and anonymized analytics

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. REMODPOD does not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last four digits of the card used.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver the design services you purchased
• To communicate with you about your project, revisions, and invoices
• To improve our website, process, and service quality
• To send optional marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers under confidentiality obligations — web hosting, Stripe (payments), email (e.g., Google Workspace), cloud file storage, and design subcontractors working on your project
• Legal authorities if required by law, court order, or to protect safety and rights
• In marketing — only anonymized, de-identified versions of your project (property address and personal identifiers removed), and only if you have not opted out

4. Data Retention

We retain your project files (scans, photos, drawings) for twelve (12) months after final delivery, after which they are automatically deleted from active storage. You may request earlier deletion or extended retention by contacting us at privacy@remodpod.com.

Contact records and invoices are retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, limited employee access on a need-to-know basis, and multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify affected users promptly in the unlikely event of a data breach.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link or contact us)
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

7. Children

REMODPOD is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for site functionality and may use anonymized analytics (e.g., Google Analytics with IP anonymization) to understand aggregate usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
