Floor Plan Questions, Answered

How accurate is a plan drawn from a phone scan?
Modern LiDAR scans are typically accurate within about an inch or two — more than enough for listings, planning, and design work. An as-built floor plan documents existing conditions; it is not a boundary survey and doesn't replace one.
Is this a permit or construction drawing?
No — it's documentation of your home as it exists today. It's the perfect starting point for design and permit drawings (it's literally step one of every REMODPOD design package), but on its own it isn't a stamped or permit-ready set.
Do you really serve all 50 states?
Yes. As-built documentation isn't jurisdiction-limited the way design services are, so floor plans are available anywhere in the U.S. (Our full design packages currently serve North Carolina.)
What if my home is larger than 2,500 SF or has multiple buildings?
Order as usual and note the size — we'll confirm a quote before invoicing. You never pay until we've confirmed your scan is usable and the price.
What scanning app should I use?
Any free LiDAR app works — we'll send simple instructions with your order confirmation. If you already have a scan from Polycam, Matterport, or similar, we can usually work directly from it.
